Location: Pensacola Bay Bridge
Description: Traffic on the Pensacola Bay Bridge will be slowed on Wednesday, Feb. 1 beginning at 3 p.m. to allow for demolition of a submerged pier from the old (1960-era) bridge. Drivers may experience increased congestion. Law enforcement personnel will be available to control traffic on the bridge during the work. All work is weather-dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.

Crews will be demolishing and removing a submerged pier from the 1960-era bridge.

In addition, drivers will encounter a rolling slow down of traffic on the Pensacola Bay Bridge Monday, Jan. 30 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Crews will be demolishing and removing a submerged pier from the 1960-era bridge. Law enforcement personnel will be deployed to strategically slow bridge traffic during the work.
