Toll suspension extended on Garcon Point Bridge through Feb. 11

Pursuant to Executive Orders 20-224, 20-225 and the extension of those orders in Executive Order 21-10, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Secretary Kevin J. Thibault, P.E. has directed Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) to further extend the toll suspension for the Garcon Point Bridge. Tolls are now suspended on the Garcon Point Bridge through Thursday, February 11, 2021.

Work continues to repair Pensacola Bay Bridge damage that was sustained during Hurricane Sally. Demolition activities are complete, and crews are set to begin pouring the new concrete deck spans.

Pensacola Bay Bridge repairs on schedule

Contractors working to repair and reconstruct the damaged Pensacola Bay Bridge remain on-schedule for restoring four lanes of traffic to the bridge in March 2021. Much of the demolition debris has been cleared to make way for driving replacement piles, placing new trophy pieces, installing beams, and constructing the bridge decks.
