Westbound Multi-use Path Now Open

The Pensacola Bay Bridge construction team has reached a major project milestone as the westbound multi-use path is now open! The eastbound multi-use path reopened in April of 2022.
Both ten-foot-wide lighted paths (eastbound and westbound) feature six scenic overlooks, each equipped with shaded seating areas that provide panoramic views of Pensacola Bay.
Construction on the Pensacola Bay Bridge will continue as crews are placing the “friction course,” the final layer of asphalt, on the roadway and other work list items. Please drive carefully as workers and construction equipment will continue to be present on the bridge and U.S. 98 approaches.
